PETER ATSU ADALETEY’S BIO
In 2018, Ghana’s multi-talent, Peter Atsu Adaletey unveiled his brand on the international scene as the First Assistant Director and Casting Director of Zoey Martinson’s award-winning international short film THE FISHERMAN which starred Emmanuel France, Nollywood’s International veteran actor.
In 2018, he was selected as a fully funded delegate for the International Teaching Artist Conference (held at New York, USA) organized by the International Teaching Artist Collaborative (ITAC).
Same year, he was appointed by the organizers of the Kampala International Theatre Festival as a Stage Manager for a UK based award-winning theatre company, Seemia Theatre but unfortunately, he couldn’t embrace those opportunities due to conflicting scenes.
In 2014, at the budding phase of the BEAST OF NO NATION movie, he was on the project as a volunteer talent scout assist to Harrison Nesbit (one of the casting directors) but faded shortly due to campus demands and other complications.
Persistent and deeply dedicated to his passion, he was selected by ITAC as a Catalyst. To open Teaching Artists and Artistes in Ghana to the unlimited opportunities, he established ITAC GHANA (the first international wing of the International Teaching Artist Collaborative) and heads as the Manager (Country Director) .
Atsu has extensively extended and still promoting the arts in education in schools, communities, churches and arts organizations in Ghana.
In 2020, at the 5th International Teaching Artist Conference (ITAC 5) held at Seoul, South Korea (virtual conference), Atsu was selected as a Collective Room Leader and worked with other resourceful and versatile TAs across the world.

In 2015, he made it to Nigeria on an exchange programme and performed at the National Council for Arts and Culture (Abuja, Nigeria) in OPEN MIC with support from Mr. Muhammad Sulaiman and Margaret John.
Over the years, persistently engaged with performances and events at the National Theatre of Ghana (KIDDAFEST 1995), he became very effective from 1999 and has been experimenting with Theatre, Television, Film, Dance and Stand-Up Comedy. He is also a copywriter, an event and talent manager and a spoken word artist.
His play, “YOLKLESS EGG”, which begun scrpting in 2002 and has been on a test phase since 2014, has fetched endorsements from local and international veterans and seasoned artistes.
Atsu is a product of the University of Education, Winneba (Department of Theatre Arts). He is a co-founder of Bright Future Drama Club (Keta Senior High School — 1997), founder of Bright Future Arts Foundation (Accra, 1998) and founder of Dzolali Theatre House (Accra, 2017).
With such an enviable network with Teaching Artists around the world (through ITAC), Atsu continuous to promote the arts in education, offer professional development workshops and empowers talents to become impactful artpreneurs.
