LadyMelody is a graduate of M-Jay School of Fashion and Exopa Modelling Academy, respectively. Her mentor, Peter Atsu Adaletey, who she has worked with for years as a Personal Assistant, has highly recommended her for international projects.

She extends her work to schools and communities; empowering children, youth, and the aged through creative engagement.

With her background in fashion, LadyMelody, in 2022, began experimenting on a project that blends fashion and storytelling for community building and development.

The project “ADINKRA AT THE FIRE SIDE” freely creates a communal experience for community members, especially the youth, to bring in old clothes which carry cultural symbols, participate in a collective sewing experience and to showcase their experiences through storytelling.

She believes that empowerment through fashion will provide communities with the freedom and resources to engage with and express themselves and their own culture.
